When it comes to Microsoft cloud deployments, most Managed Service Providers (MSPs) are already familiar with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications such as Microsoft 365. However, there are incredible opportunities for both end-customers and MSPs using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions delivered through Azure. 

Moving customers’ existing infrastructure to the cloud provides partners with an excellent opportunity to improve security and increase innovation with hybrid capabilities whilst also meeting the current uncertainty and challenges we see in the digital world. 

The Azure Project Impasse

When you have a prospect or a customer who is interested in moving their workloads to Azure, how can partners ensure that they can help their customer understand the benefits of migrating without spending too much time, effort and cost?  

The usual process is to deliver a discovery in the form of pre-sales, which is either offered for free or paid for by the customer. However, it may be difficult persuading the customer who doesn’t want to pay for the work if they are unsure if Azure is right for them, causing the MSP to lose valuable time (and money) in delivering the pre-sales work if it doesn’t result in winning the Azure project.

This report which is compiled by our expert Cloud Architects in Infinigate Cloud’s PRO team will contain: 

  • Overview with key metrics 
  • Financial summary 
  • Workload considerations including required VM sizes and licensing requirements 
  • Overall readiness report 

This unbranded report will be delivered to Partners for rebranding before being distributed to the end customer. This means that the usual deadlock is overcome, the end customer is able to receive a Microsoft-funded assessment and Partners are able to leverage the expertise of Infinigate Cloud’s Cloud Architects to carry out the assessment and the opportunity can then be realised at no cost to the Partner or end customer. 

Return-On-Investment

Over the past 6 months of delivering Rapid Assessment projects, Partners have seen a 60%+ conversion rate from Rapid Assessments into fully live Azure customers. 

Further funding is available from Microsoft under the AMM program to pay for the migration professional services, simplifying the cloud migration and modernisation journey for your customers and unlocking even more opportunity for Partners.
