Microsoft has announced a series of updates for February 2026. This blog covers changes to products, solutions, services, partner programs, and other key information. Let us look at the latest news updates.
- Extended Service Terms enforcement in CSP will now begin on 4 May 2026, instead of 1 April 2026.

- The maximum license cap for Microsoft 365 E3, Microsoft 365 E5 and Microsoft 365 Copilot CSP promotions has been increased from 2,400 to 9,999 licenses.
- Copilot Business promotions are not included and remain capped at 300 licenses.
- Beginning 13 February 2026, each of the three Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP) benefit packages will offer new benefits. Additionally, select Solutions Partner designations and specialisations will receive updated offerings.
Here are the key points:
- Additional Azure credits provided for solution development and testing.
- Additional Copilot benefits, such as increased Microsoft 365 Copilot capacity packs, access to Copilot Studio, and select Dragon Copilot features.
- Advanced security solutions, including the Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Entra Suite, and Microsoft Intune Suite.
- AI-driven Partner Marketing Center Pro enables partners to quickly find, tailor, and launch marketing campaigns.

- Eligible customers can receive 30% off Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses for one year when they:
- Purchase 300 or more annual Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses.
- Achieve at least 80% information worker coverage (Microsoft E3/E5, OE1/OE3/OE5), with Copilot Chat for remaining eligible users.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot Business also has the following updates:
- Month-to-month CSP billing flexibility for Microsoft 365 Copilot Business and their respective bundles starting 1 March 2026.
- Extended promotion terms Copilot Business offers through 30 June 2026, including new Microsoft 365 Copilot Business bundle offers for customers with under 300 licenses.
- New partner profitability resources are also available to help maximise margins, incentives, and deal profitability with Microsoft 365 Copilot Business bundles.
- Microsoft retired the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) legacy attestation API, the UX-based attestation experience in Partner Centre, and the bulk attestation tool in January 2026.
- Blocking changes now live for Microsoft Customer Agreement partner attestation.
- Microsoft Sentinel SIEM customers are moving from the Microsoft Sentinel Azure portal experience to the Microsoft Defender portal experience.
- Microsoft has extended the planned sunset date for the Microsoft Sentinel Azure portal experience to 31 March 2027 (previously 1 July 2026).
