With the start of a new month, Microsoft has announced a series of updates in June 2025. This blog will detail the changes to products, solutions, services, partner programs, and other pertinent information. Let us discuss the latest news and updates.

Copilot and Accelerate M365 E3/E5 Promotion Extensions

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot Getting Started CSP 15% Promo extended till September 30, 2025
  • Accelerate with Microsoft 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E5 15% Annual Term Promotions have been extended till September 30, 2025

Monthly Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program updates 

  • AI Assistant Anywhere being introduced into Partner Centre for product benefits page.
  • Learn Linking Experience improvements
  • Use AI Assistant Anywhere in Partner Centre Membership offers and Solution Partner designation areas.

June Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) monthly updates 

  • Partner launch calendar, Partner journey maps and CSP Bimonthly newsletter have all been updated

AI Assistant Support for Co-op, CPOR, and Workshop Claims 

  • The AI Assistant in Partner Centre Incentives now supports inquiries about Partner Incentives Co-op, Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), and Workshop claims.

June 2025 edition: Partner Centre Technical Corner blog series now available 

  • Covering Partner Centre AI assistant evolution, securing the channel, Partner Centre resources and new functionality that has been released.

Reminder: Important actions partners need to take to secure the partner ecosystem 

  • Microsoft is enforcing MFA for Azure portal.
  • Microsoft is enforcing MFA for Microsoft 365 admin centre.
  • Deprecation of graph.windows.net API audience tokens on August 31, 2025.
  • Microsoft is enforcing MFA for Partner Centre portal starting August 30, 2025.

Reminder: Changes to Partner of Record (POR) assignment for CSP resellers is coming 

  • Beginning 1st of September 2025, both the API and UI will check if the reseller is in compliance with the reseller’s authorisation terms.
  • To avoid disruption of service, indirect resellers must: Have a valid CSP authorisation and an active tenant as described in Cloud Solution Provider program overview, be associated with a valid PLA ID and be located in the same geographic region as the indirect provider  CSP region.

Licensing and pricing updates for on-premises productivity server products coming in July and August 2025 

  • Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE) and Skype for Business Server Subscription Edition (SE) are generally available on July 1, 2025.
  • Prices for all standalone on-premises server products (SharePoint Server, Exchange Server, and Skype for Business Server) are increasing by 10% on July 1, 2025.
  • These changes apply exclusively to the on-premises versions of the products.
  • There’s no change to pricing for SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, or Microsoft Teams purchased separately or through a Microsoft 365 license.

Refreshed licensing resources page now available 

  • Microsoft have improved the licensing resources webpage to simplify exploring and comparing Microsoft licensing agreements, including CSP, Buy Online, software development companies, Microsoft Open, and more.

Partner Centre to require multifactor authentication in August 

  • Multifactor authentication (MFA) is required to sign in to Partner Centre as of August 30, 2025.
  • Full enforcement of MFA for APIs starts on April 1, 2026.

Copilot announcements at Microsoft Build 2025 

  • Launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot Tuning for training models and creating agents using your company data.
  • New agent orchestration capabilities that allow multiple agents to work together as a team.
  • New tools to empower developers and understand agent cost and consumption.

Researcher and Analyst are now generally available in Microsoft 365 Copilot.

  • June 2, 2025, Microsoft announced general availability of Researcher and Analyst agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • Researcher assists with multi-step research at work, providing insights with quality and accuracy.
  • Analyst functions like an expert data scientist, offering quick insights from raw data. Microsoft 365 Copilot users can run up to 25 queries per month.

Dynamics 365 Omnichannel End-of-Sale.

Starting August 1, 2025, Dynamics 365 (D365) Omnichannel SKUs will enter End-of-Sale for all channels and segments.

Existing customers with Omnichannel add-on licenses may remain on those licenses until the end of their current enrolment with eligibility to renew once, until 31st of July 2026.

At the time of their next renewal, they will transition to the equivalent D365 Contact Centre add-on or D365 Customer Service Premium SKU.
