Microsoft has introduced several important updates to Copilot, focusing on how organisations adopt and scale AI across Microsoft 365. These updates are designed to remove common barriers that customers have faced, such as cost and limited access.
The latest changes include new CSP promotions and more flexible billing options. Together, these updates support a shift away from limited early use of Copilot and towards wider, more consistent adoption across teams and departments. The overall aim is to help organisations embed AI into everyday work rather than treating it as a separate tool.
Why have these changes been made?
Microsoft has made these updates in response to how customers have been using Copilot so far. While early deployments showed clear value, many organisations limited access to only a small group of users. This reduced collaboration benefits and slowed overall adoption.
Another challenge was timing. Some customers wanted to adopt Copilot but were restricted by renewal cycles and long-term commitments. Others wanted to expand usage after seeing results but found cost to be the next blocker.
These updates are designed to address those challenges by encouraging broader adoption and offering more flexible entry points, making it easier for organisations to scale Copilot usage when they are ready.
What has changed?
Copilot for All – 30% CSP Promotion
Microsoft has introduced a new Copilot for All 30% promotion for customers purchasing between 300 and 1,499 Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses. To qualify, organisations must reach at least 80% Information Worker coverage, with remaining users supported through Copilot Chat.
This update encourages organisation wide Copilot adoption rather than limiting AI to a small number of users. When most employees can summarise and draft using Copilot, teams work more consistently. Copilot Chat also ensures that users outside the main licensing group still have access to AI in a secure way.
This promotion is available from 19th of February 2026, until 30th June 2026. Please reach out at microsoft@infinigate.cloud, and we will review whether any prospects you have are eligible.
Scale Up – 20% Promotion Expansion
The Scale Up 20% promotion has now been expanded to include all CSP customers purchasing 100 or more Copilot licenses. Previously, this offer was only available to a targeted group of customers.
This update supports organisations that have already enabled Copilot for a small group and are ready to extend usage more broadly. Many customers saw strong results early on and then wanted to move quickly across more teams. This promotion helps remove cost as a blocker and supports wider adoption across the business.
The Scale Up promotion also runs until 30th June 2026. Contact us at microsoft@infinigate.cloud to check your customer’s eligibility.
Copilot Business offer extension
Microsoft has extended the Copilot Business standalone and bundle offers until 30th June 2026. In addition to this, the previous “onetime only” purchase restriction has been removed. Details of the offer are as below:
- Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Copilot for Business Bundle – 35% off 10-300 seats annual subscription
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Bundle – 25% off 10-300 seats annual subscription
- Microsoft 365 Copilot Business annual subscription – 15% off for annual subscriptions up to 300 seats
This means customers no longer need to wait until renewal to adopt Copilot Business. They can upgrade when the need arises and still renews at the promotional price. This is especially important for SMBs, where waiting several months can result in lost productivity.
Month-to-month (M/M) billing option
From 1st of March 2026, Microsoft introduced a month-to-month billing option for Copilot Business and Copilot Business bundles. This option includes a 20% price uplift compared to annual billing and is not eligible for promotional discounts.
This update provides greater flexibility for customers who are not ready for an annual commitment. Month to month billing supports phased adoption and allows organisations to validate Copilot’s value before moving to a longer-term agreement.
How will this impact your business?
These updates make Copilot more accessible at every stage of adoption. Organisations can start small and expand when value is clear or deploy Copilot more broadly across their workforce with fewer restrictions and clearer options. This allows businesses to move at their own pace while still building confidence in how AI fits into everyday work.
For SMBs, Copilot Business is now easier to adopt without waiting for renewal and committing long term. For larger organisations, the new CSP promotions support consistent AI experiences across teams rather than isolated usage, helping ensure Copilot delivers value across the business.
Overall, these changes help businesses save time and reduce friction, allowing AI to be included naturally into day-to-day work across Microsoft 365.
