The New Commerce Experience (NCE) ‘Per Seat’ model for CSP – for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform subscriptions – is the latest in the evolution of the CSP program.
In development by Microsoft for a number of years, NCE Per Seat builds on the transition to the New Commerce Experience that Azure has made over the last couple of years, and is due to launch sometime in October 2021.
Headline Changes
With NCE Per Seat, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform SKUs will be available with terms of 1 month, 1 year, and 3 years (for Dynamics 365 only).
Microsoft will not provide pro-rata refunds for the early termination of any subscription in NCE Per Seat outside of an initial 72-hour cancellation window.

Additional opportunities with NCE Per Seat
The new NCE Per Seat CSP platform also enables Microsoft to introduce new features and functionality to CSP provisioning and billing. One early new capability expected is Communication Credits to become available in CSP (currently only available directly from Microsoft by credit card).
Our expectation is that most new per seat subscription offers and promotions from Microsoft will only be available on the NCE platform.
Vuzion and NCE Per Seat Availability
Vuzion teams have been working on an early adopters’ program with Microsoft since the beginning of 2021 and are ready to support partners on this evolution of the CSP program.
In October 2021 we plan to make NCE CSP offers for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform available to partners within our marketplace and billing platform, Vuzion CORE.
