Role Purpose

Are you searching for the next step in your business development career with the IT Channel industry? Infinigate Cloud, Ireland are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Business Development Manager to join their close-knit team. This role is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the Infinigate Partner Team and the attainment of individual and team sales targets.

This is a fast-paced role with a breadth of involvement from managing an assigned strategic partner portfolio with the aim of growth, to targeting new partners with a wider product offering.

We are offering this opportunity as a full-time position ideally you will be based in the Republic of Ireland based near our Dublin office. This is a hybrid position and does require regular travel to industry and company events, partner meetings and very occasionally, international travel.

Duties & Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Target and recruit appropriate new Partners.
  • Increase number of existing and new Partners selling Cybersecurity Products.
  • Develop a Managed Solution and Security Distribution mindset.
  • Increase profit and revenue from a set of managed strategic accounts.
  • Proactive Account Development.
  • Partner Satisfaction – responsible for achieving individual, departmental and company KPIs in partner satisfaction.
  • Sales Forecasting – provide an accurate pipeline, ensuring accurate information is captured and recorded in the appropriate systems and complete partner business reviews.
  • Events & Sales Promotions – promote attendance at Infinigate events and participation in sales promotions via outbound partner contact campaigns.
  • Event Attendance – attend Infinigate events and engage with partners and suppliers at these events.
  • Lead qualification– follow up all leads in a timely fashion, qualify data captured, complete lead qualification from website submissions and inbound enquiries via email and telephone.

General Skills

  • One+ years’ work experience working with Microsoft Technologies within the IT Channel.
  • Knowledge of cloud services, including Microsoft’s Cloud offerings.
  • Proven experience in successfully selling cloud-based solutions.
  • Evidence of being able to nurture strong business CxO level relationships, to meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including strong presentation skills.
  • A high level of computer literacy, combined with strong Microsoft Office suite skills with proven experience of accurately recording data in computerised systems.
  • Proven ability to quickly grasp the features and benefits for resellers and their customers of new technology services and turn into commercial propositions.

Personal requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills working well both in a team environment and individually
  • Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Full Driving License.

  • Up to € 55,000 base salary + € 10,000 variable commission, per annum
  • 25 days annual leave rising to 28 days with length of service plus bank holidays.
